Initiated by CSA as part of its vision to advance the development program in the previously disadvantaged communities.

MAIN PROGRAM PRINCIPLES

*  Make the game of cricket accessible to all.

*  Enhance ongoing skills development through comprehensive training programs for players, coaches, 

   managers, match officials, ground staff, volunteers and employees.

*  Retain players at all levels of amateur cricket with emphasis on club cricket.

*  Create and maintain The Hub as a Centre of Excellence and Regional Performance Centre to link schools

   and club cricket.

*  Provide a clear path from grassroots to Proteas.

*  Capacity building and create a window of opportunity.

ULTIMATE FOCUS OF THE HUB/RPS

*  Provide schools feeding a Hub or RPC access to facilities.

*  Broaden the game of cricket among black communities.

*  Develop quality Black African Cricketers who will contribute positively towards the CSA pipeline plan.

*  Support the CSA Transformation Agenda.

DESIRED OUTCOMES OF A HUB PROGRAM

*  Increase and sustain participation.

*  Have more quality matches so as to improve and maximise performance.

*  Developing and identifying talent.

*  Community engagement.
